iKMS maintains collaborative relationships with the following KM forums, associations and groups:

actKM

One of the most vibrant and active KM discussion forums around, with its own website, but with most activity taking place via an email listserve discussion forum. Originally founded in 1998 in Australian Capital Territory, with a strong focus on public sector KM, it has since grown to international dimensions.

Gurteen Knowledge Community

An informal community of people interested in KM linked through a community and resource site set up by UK-based David Gurteen.

Hong Kong Knowledge Management Society

Sister society of iKMS, founded as a society in 2001. Runs an annual Asia Pacific KM Conference.

KM Talk

A collaborative blog focused on KM in Malaysia, which also organizes occasional meetings and sharing sessions.

Knowledge Management Association of the Philippines

This association was founded in 2002, and holds regular meetings as well as occasional conferences.

Knowledge Management Society of Japan

Founded in 1998, probably the most mature KM society in Asia. Has a number of study and practice committees.

Komunitas KM

Founded in 2007, this Indonesian KM group is one of Asia’s younger KM communities but it has an active programme of workshops and seminars, as well as a research programme.
