Membership Application

If you are applying at a personal capacity, you should go for ordinary or associate membership. Corporate memberships are for organisations who wish to register their employees as members. All members are required to abide by the iKMS Constitution.

Membership types

The explanation here helps you to decide on the appropriate membership type. If you need somebody to talk to regarding membership application, please contact Foon Yee.

Ordinary membership
Designed for the individual interested in learning more about Information and knowledge management principles and practices and advancing their careers in KM. Ordinary members also have the right to vote and hold office. Ordinary membership is not transferable.

Associate Membership
Designed for students over the age of 16 studying in any educational institution in Singapore or overseas. Associate members do not have the right to vote but may hold office. Associate membership is not transferable.

Corporate Membership
Designed  for organisations that wish to nominate a group of employees to take part in the Society’s activities, and benefit from the professional development opportunities it provides. Corporate members are entitled to nominate transferable membership rights to the number of nominees that are covered by their corporate membership grade. Nominated members have the right to hold office in the Society, and Corporate members have the right to one vote for every 10 employees registered with the Society.

Designed for non-members who have an interest to stay abreast of iKMS events and matters.
